Surfside Beach Oceanfront Hotel

My teenage daughter and I planned a vacation to Myrtle Beach the end of August, but chose to stay in Surfside Beach instead. The location was amazing. We had a wonderful room with a small balcony and ocean view right on Surfside Beach. The rooms have refrigerators and microwaves. The entire hotel is unique, beautiful and they keep it immaculate. There are even a limited number of parking spaces in a parking garage. There are plenty of original restaurants, bars, an ice cream parlor, bait shop and pier next door and directly across the street. Although we did take the short travel to shop and sightsee in Myrtle Beach, most of our time was spent in Surfside. Various water sports and dolphin watching excursions are offered in close proximity. We would definitely stay there again!

Super clean and comfortable. Great view from room. Nice pool, great location. Parking security in the evenings was great to have due to lack of parking in the area for other things. (The hotel itself has plenty of parking). Front desk staff are awesome and our room was super clean, great cleaning staff.

This hotel is right on the ocean with beach access. I loved our room with a balcony on the 7th floor with an ocean view. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very, very clean. I don't know about the outdoor pool and whirlpool as it was pretty cold during our stay. The coffee was fresh and good every morning. It was very quiet except for the construction that was going on during the day. The machines were pretty noisy and there was a chemical smell one day. but we were out most of that day anyway. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful from the desk to the cleaning crew. From what we could tell, the maintenance and painting are looking beautiful and very beachy. The hotel is right next to the new pier in Surfside. Very sweet and quiet place to spend time by the ocean. The rates were very reasonable, especially for the view. One suggestion is to check in and leave your luggage in the car. Then, pull your car around to the back of the hotel and there is direct access to the elevator to the rooms. Very convenient once you learn the system.

The location was perfect!! Around all the places to eat and close to a friend's house. The staff were courteous and friendly, and upon checking out, the receptionist at the front desk even blew up a huge turtle for a little boy to take to the beach! That is way above and beyond customer service which I thought was wonderful!!

First off I rented this room for my BIL and FIL who were traveling through the area. We arrived before they did at the hotel and the front desk staff was awesome. Hotel was very clean as was the room. Location is perfect right on the beach and near many good restaurants. We live in the area and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to guests.
